Field Service Technician


Shift has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician. Reporting to the Manager, Client Service Delivery, the successful candidate will be responsible for customer installations and product support. This primarily involves the implementation & trouble-shooting of DSL and VoIP telephone systems at client sites.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • A positive, friendly manner and customer-first service approach
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the technical or customer service industry
  • Ability to articulate complex technical information in a manner which non-technical individuals can understand
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and well organized
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN Networking
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • College diploma/certificate and/or equivalent
  • Proficient in PC Applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers license in good standing & reliable motor vehicle
